Name: Henri
Age: 31
Location: In your dreams
Job description: IT Consultant

Favorite OTF chatroom: Ten Forward
Department: Internal Development
Awards: yes

Habits: Stunning people with my looks, signing I love Henri stickers while talking on the phone, impressing peeps, coming up with easy stuff like the 10 dimension theory, making people laugh, drooling thoughtlessly when thinking of Monny
Hobbies: being a computer nerd in every aspect, reading, clubbing
Pets: 3 cats, Sukkel, Stanley and B
Phobias: spiders, open areas, closed rooms, day light, water, oxygen, being with other people, not being with other people and being stranded in the middle of the ocean with my sailboat that has run out of petrol

What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done?
I was born... When I first faced the earth, I was immediately groped and watched naked by all kinds of people I had never seen before.

If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be and why?
Me, because I love me.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?
I would change my bank account. Add a few zeroes behind the figures before the comma. In other words: stop working and only have fun.

If you were to be stranded on a tropical deserted island and could bring 3 things (or people) with you what (or who) would they be?
1. Monny
2. my computer
3. a huge truck containing everybody I know and everything I own

Outpost History and Opinions

How long have you been a member of the Outpost?
That depends on when you read this stuff. If you read this the day that I fill this form out, it would be 3 years, 7 months and 17 days. If you would read this tomorrow, it would be 3 years, 7 months and 18 days. So... If you know that I joined the Outpost on November 5th, 1998, then what date did I fill out this form? The right answer might get you a genuine I love Henri sticker. Just send me your answer and your RL address to henri@henri.tv and I'll see what I can do for you.

How did you find out about it?
Well, long story to put in such a small box... Anyway, I was sitting on the job, bored to death (previous employer) when on one memorable day (which I have forgotten, BTW) we got the internet. So... Being a chat-virgin, I figured out I'd check out a chat to see what all those other nerds were always talking about. So I went to Yahoo and entered the word "chat". Needless to say that gave me several quadragazillion hits, amongst which some 200 categories. As I happened to have seen a cool TNG eppie the night before, I thought I'd check out the Star Trek category. And there it was... Ten Forward...

What was your first impression of the Outpost?
Well, since it was my first chat ever, I had to get used to the idea a bit. The peeps were very friendly and stuff, so I came back the next day when I was bored on the job once more.

What persuaded you to keep chatting at the Outpost?
Actually it were a few people. First of all it was commander Micha Bravo, who gave me the big welcome and stuff. He also persuaded me to join a department. Second one was HVG. Being a fellow Dutchie, he sent me a nice little welcome mail and told me about the other Dutchies who were coming to the chat. Peeps like them made me feel at home.

How much time do you spend chatting?
As much as possible, but that's not too much anymore these days. Working hard on the RL job (new employer) and doing quite a bit of stuff for InDev. That combined with a lot of talking with Monny fills up my days nicely...

Do you think having departments is a good idea? Why or why not?
Yes it is, actually. It is the opportunity for people who enjoy the chat to influence the stuff that is going on and to become even more involved with the community as a whole. It's not just a passive chat where one can talk to other peeps, but all kinds of talents can be explored within a department. Before I joined the Outpost, I didn't really see a reason why I would learn HTML and such. I'm always happy to learn things, if I have a use for it. The outpost gave me a use and now I'm a rather advanced web developer. Same goes with Perl programming and Internal Development.

Do you participate in monthly contests for the Guilds? If yes, how often?
Not really... I'm more of a technical peep than an artsy type peep.

What is your opinion on the Plan of the Future?
It totally rocks! Great compliments to those who made them! We'll so totally rule in the future.

What do you think of the changes being made to the community (Creation of a new department, merging of departments, general organization, etc.)?
Well, like every type of community, the Outpost also changes. Sometimes one needs to let go of something to gain a lot more. Of course merging departments causes emotional stress for a while, but in the long term it will definately pay off.

If you could open another chat room in the Outpost, what theme would you choose?
Hmmm... I would probably open a Johnny Bravo chat...

Outpost future

If you could play a practical joke on Admiral Andrew Maxwell, what would it be?
*L* Not gonna tell, because it will ruin the joke. In the past I have tinkered with the special login message the admirals get and such. That usually cracks me up.

If you could have the Admiral's command code and access to all the pages for a day, what would you do?
Well... To be honest... I have access to all the pages... So I would basically do what I usually do.

If you were given access to the Admiral's handbag for a day, what would you do?
First of all I would hide it, so that no peeps could see it. Then I would take out all the fluff and replace it with I love Henri stickers.

Who should be the next Outpost Admiral and why?
Me of course, because I say so. *G*

What do you think is an acceptable bribe to offer for the next Admiral's position?
A full set of Henri merchandise, autographed and handed over personally. For a complete overview of the merchandise, please view http://www.henri.tv/merchandise.html

Are the Admiralty really Sith Lords in disguise? (Remember, there are always two of them!)
Hmmm.... I don't think so... But then again, my sense might be clouded by the masters of deception. Thus far I believe that Andrew is actually a cool hardworking Canadian dude and Piraeus actually is a great shiney beaver.

If there were mutiny in the Outpost, who would you follow?
I would follow me.

Is Babel really a Time Lord?
Well... Babel sure has seen a lot of time already. He's one of them old farts who even exceeds me by far, where age is concerned. So... Yes, he is.

Who is the true Boss Kitty: RDMG or KittyKat?
The one and only Boss Kitty is RDMG, of course. *S* There can be only one.

What colour robes suit Darth Damos best?
Please, don't put any robes on the dude. Just give him some lederhosen and a plastic raincoat.

What is a Teekador?
A teekador is a type of labrador that is usually found in the Teekistan province.

What does C.T. stand for?
It stands for Clumsy Toothpastetuberoller

What does J.J. stand for?
Jollygood Junglebookcharacter
