What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done?
When drunk I tried to exit a nightclub through a door that was behind a curtain. Unfortunately I picked the wrong curtain, which was hung in front of a wall.
If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be and why?
Snoopy the dog, nuff said.
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?
My clothes. It’s nice to change your clothes once in a while, or they tend to get smelly. (I’ve heard you can even wash them occasionally!)
If you were to be stranded on a tropical deserted island and could bring 3 things (or people) with you what (or who) would they be?
My girlfriend, my TARDIS and a TV set (with 3,000 miles of extension cable).
Outpost History and Opinions
How long have you been a member of the Outpost?
It’ll be three years this September.
How did you find out about it?
Kady told me about it.
What was your first impression of the Outpost?
I’ve never done an impression of OTF, but I can do a pretty good Jimmy Saville . . .
What persuaded you to keep chatting at the Outpost?
The sinister figures in the shadows ‘suggesting’ it’d be in my best interests NOT to leave . . .
How much time do you spend chatting?
Dunno. Not as much as I should, but that’s life.
Do you think having departments is a good idea? Why or why not?
It’s a good idea. It sets us apart from other sites, although we have been imitated in that respect plenty of times. It allows us to draw upon skills and talents our members have, whilst at the same time enabling people to develop and nurture skills they have.
Do you participate in monthly contests for the Guilds? If yes, how often?
Now and again.
What is your opinion on the Plan of the Future?
I think it’s great! OTF is growing and, in my opinion, had reached a point where the place would continue to grow, or stagnate. The former is much preferable and in order for us to keep the famed OTF spirit and atmosphere intact, we had to develop new ways to manage the place. Planning was essential and now we’re nearly there, I think people will look back and see that we were right to instigate this.
What do you think of the changes being made to the community (Creation of a new department, merging of departments, general organization, etc.)?
It’s going well. Of course, there are some things that could have been done better, but we can only learn from this. Overall I am very proud of the way our membership has risen to the challenges!
If you could open another chat room in the Outpost, what theme would you choose?
Doctor Who, of course! In the future, if demand merited it, I’d like to see a general sci-fi chat opened. But that would be a LONG way down the line.

If you could play a practical joke on Admiral Andrew Maxwell, what would it be?
I’d tell him that I’d decided to stay on at OTF for ANOTHER three years. The shock would give the poor man a heart attack . . .
If you could have the Admiral's command code and access to all the pages for a day, what would you do?
Not telling . . .
If you were given access to the Admiral's handbag for a day, what would you do?
Buy a matching outfit, some natty sling backs and strut my funky stuff, baby!

If there were mutiny in the Outpost, who would you follow?
Mutiny? MUTINY? I’d execute the ringleaders, put down the rebellion mercilessly and become even more tyrannical so it could never happen again! MUHAHA!
