Engineering report

Captain Tierce

"The Department of Engineering has undergone many changes the past year; we're always evolving, from totally redesigned web sites on old and new projects to new teams and many new talents. In the end, this resulted in a very efficient and dedicated team of engineers who all had many valuable talents. The ability and determination to learn and adapt has always been one of our trademarks, in my opinion. Without going into details, we've launched many projects of which we've been very proud of and they sported some of the newest and advanced web design technologies out there, from Flash to java-script and CGI.

The future looks very bright for Engineering as we've recently merged with Research and Development and the plans for the new Engineering department are being laid as this is written. Combining the many talents from both departments will create a unique department with even more power to create professional web design for a community that has grown from a small meeting place for few fans to a large community with roots all over the world. The new vision will bring us even further and the engineers will be ready to do their part.

This will also be my final public appearance on behalf of Engineering as I've recently retired as Senior Manager and Captain Lindax is already working on thrusts together with Commander Ika and Lt. Commander Arlia on our new structure. I very much welcome this merge and I look forward to seeing the Engineering Department in action. Captain Lindax, apart from being a very capable web designer, has also proven to be a very leader, latest for R&D, and I have every confidence in her as far as Engineering is concerned. God speed Engineering!"
