The Wizard Update

Over the past month, the Wizards have banded together to work on a single set of projects; the Final Fantasy events that were introduced to the team by Ryo Crimson a couple of months ago. As I stated in the last issue of the Blue Report, these events were planned to correspond with the release of the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie, which was released this month. The Wizards stepped right up to work as soon as Ryo had given a basic outline of these events.

First off, Phill used his amazing graphic skills to make a number of avatars for a Final Fantasy monster masquerade. The avatars he made are some of the best IÂ’ve ever seen; they include all kinds of Final Fantasy characters and creatures. During the masquerade, these avatars will be available for mystery chatters to use. The date for this event has not yet been decided, but keep your eyes and ears open for it; itÂ’s sure to be a great one.

Two other events that the Wizards have spoke of doing include a chocobo race and a Final Fantasy trivia. The chocobo race has not yet been worked on in depth, but should be started on soon. The trivia, which will be done in conjunction with the Trivia team, is now being worked out with Ryo and the Trivia TL, Bria. Both of these events will be in progress soon.

Lastly this month, the Wizards would like to give a very warm welcome to our newest member, Krillen (CL5)! Krillen has been a long time member of the fantasy sector, and itÂ’s excellent to finally have him in the group. Unfortunately, we had to give him an older set of Wizard robes, as weÂ’ve run out of funds to buy new ones. =( With Krillen on the team, the Wizards are nine strong once again!
