FY Patron of the Month Interview

Last monthÂ’s winner of the Fantasy Patron of the Month Award was Darth Malum (CL5). The following are a few questions I asked him regarding his award.

1. This is your first Fantasy Patron of the Month Award; how does it feel to receive it?
I think it would feel cool for anyone to know that their recent actions have merited an award. It's pretty cool to know it was me this month.

2. Did you expect that you would receive this award?
Oh no! I jumped into the chat, and at first I didn't even notice I got an award! People were giving me congratulations, and I didn't know what for until I looked and saw my award.

3. How do you believe you earned this award?
Hard, consistent work I suppose, and occasionally lurking around Minas Tirith.

4. Most people know you as "Darth Malum," but in Minas Tirith you use the chat handle "Selven." Why did you decide to use that particular name in Minas Tirith?
At the time I first went into MT, I was 'Darth Malum.' 'Darth Malum' didn't seem really fantasy-like to me, so I wanted something diverse and different to display in MT. I sat thinking for a while, and Selven is when I came up with.

5. There are a vast amount of fantasy associated books, movies, and television series out there; what are your favorites?
Gotta love LOTR! Absolutely epic films that define what fantasy is all about.

6. Do you have any future endeavors that involve the Outpost 10F fantasy sector?
Well, I did apply for DSC, so we'll see how long it takes my application to get canned...
