Interview with CL12 Iain

Describe yourself in 3 words.
Can't follow simple directions.

Who would you shoot with a level two, just for fun?
Probably Ohm. He is a worthy adversary. And he turned me into Snuffleupagus that one time.

If you were in charge for 10f for one day, what would you do?
The answer as it turns out seems to be: fill in a Yearbook interview.

If you could be any OTFer for a day, who would you be?
The Box. Unlimited power.

Instead of a Captain Picard day - who would there be a day for in 10f?
HAL. Simply because he would hate it almost as much as Picard.

When did life begin at 10f for you?
2001, but I didn't register until the start of 2002.

What's your favorite change that has occurred since you've arrived?
OTF v2. A great improvement on the OTF v1 systems.

Are you nostalgic about the 'old' 10f? which parts?
There are quite a few people that I haven't seen for years. It would be nice to catch up with them.

Any suggestions for future changes you would like to see?
I am looking forward to seeing the Firefly room.

Which departments/teams have you worked in and with?
Simming, ISA, InDev.

Who were some of your best friends when you were a new member?
The Syndicate.

Have you met any members in real life? What was it like?
Quite a few. It is very similar to the atmosphere in the chatrooms.

Of the members you haven't met who do you want to meet up with?
I should head to Vancouver some time, to say hello to Andrew and Tanya.

If you could buy any member of 10f a beer, who would it be?
CT.

What themed room would you add to 10f?
Matrix. No question there.

What is the best and the worst thing about 10f?
Best: the people. Worst: drama.

How would you describe 10f to outsiders?
Sci-Fi chat, community, around longer than Google. Good people.

Why do you think 10f has lasted so long?
Sheer dedication from the OTF community, members both past and present.

Best memory of this past year?
The launch of the new KL chatroom.

What is your personal message for the yearbook [2013]?
Here is to the journey, for the next 16 years.
