Who said a life in politics was easy?

I don't know, personally, but whoever it was needs to be shot. And quickly. It's been a very turbulent month in the Senate as the Supreme Chancellor and her Deputy have started searching for new potential Senators to join their ranks and expand their grasp and, naturally, level of greed, squalor and corruption. Several meetings have been held and several names have been thrashed out in order to draw up a short list of potential new recruits. The suggestion of "Grant" was rapidly dismissed and the Senator from "Over there" was quickly exposed to be a plant by Iain. (Said plant now resides in Jaden's office. A little greenery never went amiss). Strife, discord and hours and hours of sitting around looking pretty have gripped the Senators in their quest to find new blood. My suggestion of OO-negative was dismissed, and I've since been banished for not paying attention in staff meetings - my alibi "I was in America" failed to impress Jaden, so here I am keeping Osiris company in Kessel, writing this update on the back of a cigarette packet. But that's not important.

Aside from the usual rough, tumble and drunken madness that usual occurs in the Senate, we have also been hard at work in tweaking the appearance of the CCC armoury to make it feel more... "Star Wars-y". A few graphic (not graphic as in X-Rated) suggestions have been put forward by members of the committee (Bria, at this point, threatened to resign, exclaiming that she was "not a committee") but no final decision has yet been made. However, we can expect a more aesthetically pleasing armoury to be in place shortly.

With more Senators set to join the ranks, and a new looking armoury around the corner, I'd advise you call to keep a close eye on the Cantina over the coming weeks. Things are looking interesting
