  • Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am a full time photographer who has been recognized in international media such as Metro UK, CBS News and the Canadian Press.  My typical day usually involves taking lots of photos of people, things and stories around the peace region where I live.

  • What are your hobbies and interests away from OTF?

My hobbies and interests outside of OTF are Pin Collecting, Photography and I have a strong interest in the new Tesla Model 3 that's coming out.

  • What is your greatest achievement and how has it shaped you?

My greatest achievement would have been when I sold a photo to international media in the United Kingdom and a few photos in the United States.  My greatest achievement in Canada was doing work for the Canadian Press and Globe & Mail.  It has shaped my outlook that I can take great recognizable photographs on an international scale and there is no limit to what I can achieve.

  • What was your dream job growing up?

My dream job growing up, maybe being a firefighter or something in the aviation field. I can't really remember that far back.

  • What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

The craziest thing I have ever done was probably going up in a Hot Air Balloon or a Glider. Having no engine and the dead quiet while gliding across the city is so awesome.

  • What would be your 'perfect' day?

Lots of sleep, not doubt about it.

  • If you could have dinner with one person, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Hard to choose just one person, but maybe a famous photographer from National Geographic ‘cause then I could get a nice insight in to the field of professional photography.

  • If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why?

I would live in the Matrix, ‘cause then everything you want is within arm’s reach.  Like the key maker, you have a door to anywhere.

  • If you could use technology to do one thing, what would it be?

Fully autonomous driving from point A to point B... and we’re not that far from it either with Tesla.

  • What are your OTF memorable moments?

Memorable moments I have had in OTF would probably be releasing a quality yearbook year after year even though the chat has been quiet and not productive enough to gather such data.  I remember a spur of the moment OTF Trivia that I had hosted just off the top of my head, it went pretty well.  Maybe we should do it again.  A couple of other ones were at the Las Vegas 2009 Union where I got to meet for the first time some of our OTF Community and create a life-long friendship with those in attendance.

In closing, this community has brought some strong people together and will have some friendships that will last for many decades to come.
