Picking up where the Facebook page for the Blue Report left off, a Star Wars parody of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” hit the internet in early November. This was followed by more Star Wars news, specifically the title for the next installment, due out in December 2015. It will be known as “The Force Awakens.”
The Marvel universe, or should I say multiverse, will explode all over the pages of your favorite comics in “Secret Wars”. Staying with Marvel, there are rumors that the impending Civil War arc of The Avengers storyline may be starting to play out on the small screen in “Agents Of SHIELD”. Speaking of, the series is now on Netflix. So if you’re interested, go watch! And if you need to catch up, now you can!
Matt Smith and Natalie Dormer will star together in “Patient Zero”, a film about a super strain of rabies reaching pandemic scale.
The future looks bright for the series Gotham, as Harvey Dent/Two Face was recently introduced. Entertainment Weekly also reported that a young version of The Joker will appear on the show, as will the parents of Richard “Dick” Grayson, also known as Robin, future sidekick to Batman.
The death of Glen A. Larson was reported on November 15. Larson was responsible for producing at least three sci-fi television series in the 1980’s – Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider and The Six Million Dollar Man.
To promote the seventh season Blu-Ray of Star Trek: The Next Generation, a gag reel hit the internet this month.
The Nerdist reports that a female writer will once again pen a Season 9 episode of Doctor Who. And staying with BBC America news for the moment, Season 3 of Orphan Black will bring new faces to that franchise, in Justin Chatwin, James Frain, Ksenia Solo and Kyra Harper.
Two trailers hit the internet recently. The first was for “Jurrasic World”, the fourth installment of that franchise, as did a trailer for the aforementioned “Star Wars, Episode 7: The Force Awakens.”
