Taste of the Outpost: Apple Cider Pepper “Pulled” Chicken

Ingredients
2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1.5 cups peppers and onions
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
1.5 teaspoons of paprika
2 teaspoons of ground dry mustard
2 cups chicken stock
2 cups of apple cider vinegar
Directions
Place the sliced apples and onions and peppers on the bottom of the slow cooker
Take the chicken breasts, and lay them on the top of the apples, peppers, and onions
Add salt, pepper, paprika, dry mustard, chicken stock, and apple cider vinegar
Cook on low for 7-8 hours
Take chicken breasts from slow cooker and pull them apart with tongs or two forks then return to slow cooker
Serve on bread or pretzel buns
