A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..... Luke Skywalker has returned to his home planet Tatooine in an attempt to rescue his friend Han Solo from the clutches of the
vile gangster Jabba the Hutt. Little does Luke know that the Galactic Empire has secretly begun construction on a new armored space station even more powerful than the first dreaded Death Star. When completed, this ultimate weapon will spell certain doom for the small band of rebels struggling to restore freedom to the galaxy.
Han is a wall ornament in Jabba's Palace. The whole group is trying to rescue Han. Leia is disguised as an bounty hunter and Chewbacca is her bounty. The droids are given to Jabba by Luke, who wants to negotiate about Han. Even Lando is there. The Imperials have started construction of a second battle moon but the rebels hear that the moon isn't operational yet. And the only protection it has comes from a shield which is on the surface of the fourth moon of Yavin. The Rebels plan their attack.
This is the third movie in the trilogy and the one with most humor in it. Those Ewoks, who doesn't like them. Well only the Imperial troops, after what those little creatures did to them who can really blame them. Luke would have to be the only Jedi in the galaxy, that is hard to believe. I won't tell you all too much about the movie. There is only a little group of people who like science fiction that didn't see something about this saga. As I said before: you love it or you hate it. I became a fan just from watching these movies. For those few Trekkies among us who haven't seen it and of course the other science fiction lovers, this is your chance. Go and rent/borrow/buy....just get those movies! And then and only after watching all the Star Wars movies you can tell me I was mistaken in these wonderful movies.
