Don Maitz has produced impressive realism artworks, covering sizable number of genres throughout his 25 year career in Florida, USA. His works include narrative paintings portraying fantasy, science fiction, and historical images. Maitz's artwork has evolved within his original market of book publishing and has expanded into many other areas.

He is particularly well known for his works of dragon illustation and science fiction works, as they all embody fantastic and imaginative qualities. All in all, Maitz creates magical and mesmirising fantasty artworks, many of which have been displayed in many galleries all over the United States, including New York, Orlando and San Diego.
