October is always an exciting month for the Guilds and this year is no
different. The Actors' Guild has been working on a new sim called "The Chaos at Cloud City". This sim will be put in our index of "stand alone" sims. What is a "stand alone" sim?
It is a sim that stands on its own and can be done over and over again depending on the characters you chose for it. "Stand alone" sims have a plot and characters named, such as Clue. Everything including the directors cues are totally adlibbed. Bloopers? Yep there will be bloopers and that is the fun of it. Often we have found the errors to be the key
to the excitment and the chaos ...... Hence "The Chaos at Cloud City".
We are also setting up to perform a holiday oriented sim. Since Halloween is in October, the
Actors' Guild will do its best to frighten...scare...and terrify the members of the Outpost and then slap in some crazy humor for the fun of it.
A new addition to the Actors' Guild in the future will be the Broadway Reviews. I personally like many live performances and theater, as do many of the Outpost members. It is a
great form of entertainment, and has stood the test of time. Theater started as far back
as the Ancient Roman Empire. Also new, the Actors' Guild will be working with the Film Guild and the Snoop Sisters on the Premiers of the following movies. Star Trek: Nemesis, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and the second Harry Potter movie. All are sure to be box office hits.
