Starting out the Blue Report for this month is news from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Deadpool 2” has a director, and it’s David Leitch. Patrick Wilson has been chosen to portray Aquaman’s evil half-brother Orm.

On November 18^th, a trailer hit the web for the annual Doctor Who Christmas special, entitled “The Return Of Doctor Mysterio”.

Three (well, now seven) members of the cast of Star Trek Discovery have been revealed. The first trio were Michelle Yeoh, who will portray the captain of the ship, former “RENT” star Anthony Rapp, who is supposed to be portraying the show’s openly gay character, and Doug Jones, known for “Hellboy” among other roles.

Three Klingons have also been cast. Chris Obi will be portraying a Klingon leader who will be attempting to unite Klingon houses, Shazad Latif will be portraying a ship commander and protégé to Obi’s character. Lastly, Mary Chieffo will be portraying one of the Klingons on Latif’s ship. And Sonequa Martin Green, currently of "The Walking Dead" will be playing an as-yet unnamed Lieutenant Commander on the show.
