Blue Report On Facebook

Article by Paulie

The Blue Report was filled once again with lots of good stuff in the last month. Without further delay, let's dig right in.

The end of March brought news from TIME.com that Adam Nimoy, son of the late, great Leonard Nimoy would be directing a documentary entitled For The Love Of Spock, starring among others, his father's co-stars, William Shatner and Zachary Quinto.

The next article came from the Whoniverse, with the news that Game Of Thrones actress Maisie Williams would guest star in one of two consecutive Viking era stories "The Girl Who Died" and "The Woman Who Lived", with some speculation in regards to whether or not the character had ties to Jenna Coleman's Clara Oswald, the current companion of the Twelfth Doctor.

Next up was a trailer for Season Three of Orphan Black, followed by the recognition of First Contact Day, and a trailer for the much talked about "Star Trek: Renegades", which weaves a story that brings new life to the franchise, and includes some familiar yet surprising faces.

The next story was about Olivia Munn having been cast in X-Men: Apocalypse. This was followed by a brand new Star Wars trailer, brought to us by Entertainment Weekly. And hold onto your sabers and blasters folks, you're going to be able to feel at home in a new, yet-to-be-built, Disney Star Wars theme park.

And in the world of new TV shows, it's been reported that "Galaxy Quest" is in production for a small screen debut and story continuation. Lastly, take it straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Jonathan Frakes himself says that CBS has no plans to bring Star Trek back to television any time soon.
