Blue Report on Facebook

The Blue Repot was filled with more great news this month, so without further fanfare, let's get to it.

First for fans of BBC Sherlock, came news of a Convention on February 9th in London, UK. If you went to this Convention, feel free to contact someone who works on the Blue Report. Maybe we can fit in some space for a write-up on your experience in a future issue.

The next story will be of particular interest to gamers. Netflix is set to release a live action "Legend of Zelda" series. Though not noted, I personally saw at least one other article attempting to spearhead a campaign o have Zelda Williams, daughter of the late Robin Williams take on the title role. Robin Williams was an aid gamer and named his daughter after the character. it would be a fitting tribute to the late actor.

If you like Zombies, they're back! The Walking Dead burst back on the small screen in early February with 15.6 Million viewers.

Spiderman will be getting another reboot, officially bringing the web slinger into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Staying with the comic book world, Morena Baccarin has been cast opposite Ryan Reynolds in "Deadpool". A Photo was released this month of Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

On February 19th, the BBC released a video of Michelle Gomez, to mark her return as Missy in the first two episodes of "Doctor Who" Season Nine. The two Part opener will have individual episode titles: "The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Witches Familiar" respectively. TNT announced plans to review their series "The Librarians", which if you haven't seen it, is about a group of people who save the world on a weekly basis from those who would use magic or their own devious purposes.

And finally we ended the month o a rather sad note. We paid our respects to Leonard Nimoy after he passed away on February 27th at the age of 83. He suffered the effects of COPD for years and was rushed to the hospital four days earlier with severe chest pains. His Iconic character portrayal of Spock suggested to anyone he encountered, Nimoy lived long and prospered for more than eight decades and we're all the richer for it. We have been, and always shall be, his fans.
