OTF’s 20^th anniversary celebration ran from 0500 UTC, August 25, 2017 to 2400 UTC, August 27, 2017 and was a tremendous success! There were echoes from the past, thanks to Guinan. There were competitions that started off with Bullseye. Starship captains “engaged” Klingons, Rumulans and other aliens throughout cyberspace in Star Trek online. Scads of spirited OTFers competed vigorously in Picture Trivia, Spirit of the Moment Trivia, and 20 Years of Outpost 10F Trivia. The grand knights of Outpost 10F took part in all three of The 20^th Name Day Tourney’s events, Jousting, Archery and Melee, with lightning speed and pin point accuracy. The culmination of our three day 20^th anniversary marathon was the awarding of the House Cup whose points were accumulated from just about all of the various tournaments and competitions. The five houses finished as follows:

·         1^st place: Octavyan with 4870 points

·         2^nd place: Andrador with 4825 points

·         3^rd place: Iainclaw with 3835 points

·         4^th place: Sonatapuff with 1110 points

·         5^th place: Halthorin with 1045 points

Chatting was nonstop. It was just like it was the day I joined Outpost10F. Hordes of people were chatting, the chat stream was moving a mile a minute, and I couldn’t keep up! The only difference? I didn’t have to push the “Receive” button. Just as it was then, and always is for that matter, the atmosphere was light and friend. Best of all to me was chatting once again with many old friends I hadn’t been in touch with since my earliest days at OTF. I couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time. Now, let’s all plan for the 21’s anniversary celebration!
