Cont. Talythia

Taly had noticed that people had been replaced by peep in OTF. From that grew the peeperoonie part, which has since been reserved kinda for her use. Taly liked to be a little weird, or different. There have been several versions of the handles Taly came up with. It must have been a group of different or weird people, making up alternative handles for each other.

Taly has found a new world of interesting things in anime. Yu-Gi-Oh is one of her latest anime obsessions; she likes talking about it, but didn’t find a chat room like OTF where this could be discussed in a fun way. She kept a close eye on the personnel list saw a fellow anime peep entered. And was too late with entering. Thou she missed that peep, she stayed talking with the others, and was back to OTF: addicted ones more.

Taly likes to tinker with graphics, she says that she isn’t that good with graphics, but I think that we can make up our own minds about that. She likes to do an occasional thing for her own site or a forum that she uses. She loves animated smileys and pixel-art like sprites from early(ish) video games (particularly Final Fantasy VI) and animated dollz. Yu-Gi-Oh was lacking in this field, so she decided to make some of her own. She also likes to make avatars and has loads in the OTF format: 45x55 pixels. Taly started a live journal the past year and found out that one can do loads more with a size limit of 100x100 pixels.

Taly returned to OTF since she hasn’t found a place like OTF online. She didn’t feel a similar connection then the one she had with OTF. OTF seems to be her online ’home’. Not other themed chat room had that certain feel that you have in OTF. Where you can talk about all those themes or about nothing at all. Something else that is so nice about OTF has been that all the members are able to do something for the chat, instead of a select group of people who decide what the chat does and what it looks like.

The best thing that happened to OTF was the globalization in Taly’s eyes: no more registering to two chat rooms, no more two cc’s. Just one handle in both places, and follow the crowd. The people who visited the chats have changed the most of the years. Friends came and went away, being replaced with new friends, who are just as much fun to talk to, just in different ways.
