Greetings OTF Members!

It's been a busy year for the new CCC Sector Commander both in and out of the chat.

Let's start with what has transpired in OTF for me over the past year starting with my appointment to Deputy Sector Commander for the SW Genre in OTF. Upon returning from vacation in Janurary 2002, I received an e-mail from the CCC SC, Darh Damos, inviting me to be his DSC. After thinking this over and talking to the ISA Executives I decided to step down as ISA Director and let Captain Jon take over the ISA, so I could focus on the CCC as the Deputy Sector Commander. Since then the ISA has flourished under Jon's leadership and techincal abilities. I'm proud of what the ISA has accomplished during and after my stay as ISA Director, and I'm sure they will continue to strive for protecting OTF from whatever is lurking out there.

After working with Darth Damos for six months, he decided to focus more on work, school, and other projects, therefore he stepped down as SC and offered me his former position which I accepted without hesitation. The search was on for a new Deputy Sector Commander...I selected Captain Glenn from the ISA, whom I had worked with as my Assistant when I was chief of CCC Security just when the ISA was formed a couple of years ago. As many of you have noticed the the CCC has made many changes with the OTF v2 release. Darth Damos cleaned up and created new graphics for the login page. I edited the text in the welcoming message from Lando. One of the biggest changes is the recent additions of 588 avatars for the Cloud City Cantina. Several of the favorite avs and those that were used the most were kept and cleaned up, while many others were added from the Star Wars films and various Expanded Universe sources. Many thanks to those that made that project a huge success. I've mentioned them in my Update Post, but thanks again to Damos, Andrew, Henri, Babel, Evil Incarnate, LinDax, Rubicon, Rock, JJ, and anyone else that assisted me. There are other improvements and preliminary ideas in the works so stay tuned.

We're looking forward to the next year in the CCC and may the Force be with you all...

On a more personal note, not much has changed in the last year. I'm still busy with work, and VERY busy with volunteer work at my church. Just glad that friends, family, and those close to me are doing well and enjoying life to the fullest, and of course happily married to Capt. JJ for over a year.
