Overall happenings in the past 12 months
In the past 12 months a lot has happened within entertainment. At the beginning of these 12 months we had a command change from Capt. Lucas To Lt. Cmdr. ( now Cmdr. ) Talythia. However, due to her increased RL school work she was forced to step down from this position to “ trivia team leader “. After she stepped down , me ( Cmdr. Dommy 1 Asst Manager at that time ) was given the honour to become Senior Manager of the entertainment department.
This wasn’t the only big change we had. Non of the Managers, Team Leaders is still in the position they where at that time. Extra to this , almost all teams had lost there personnel and gone to inactive.
However, now that these 12 months have past and people have settled down into there “new” positions, I’m proud to say that Entertainment is back on track.
Also, in the last months the vision of the future plan got integrated into the departments. This offcourse included entertainment. We in entertainment integrated the V2 by letting the department have a total revamp ( witch is still in progress ). Below you’ll find a
- We integrated the unofficial “ in training “ positions.
The people in these positions ( team leader I training, division leader in training, manager in training ), are learned the skill’s they’ll need to once take those positions they are being trained for. Though, currently there is no Manager in Training.
- The “Trivia homepage” and the “Trivia network” where integrated into 1 page: “ Trivia Home “. It got a new layout and got trivia information included ( How does it work, when are they , … ). For example, we now only have 3 network rounds ( Star Trek, Star Wars, Special ).
- The “ Live Simming “ division of the Simming team has been totally revamped. There way of working, organizing simm’s, … . To make the revamp complete the division got a new name and is now named “ Aurora division “
- The Simming web page has been revamped as well. Its now combines the old simming homepage and the “Simming Resource Site”. So on this page you can find all information about the “ simming team “ and “simming “ in general.
- The Gaming team has been totally revamped and is close to ready for launch.
A new Gaming team has been created with 3 new divisions who will all concentrate on an aspect of online and offline gaming.
- Interactive games
Will concentrate on small online flach, java, games and if possible will create competitions in these types of online games. - Multi – Player Tournaments
This division will create multiplayer games between OTF members in all types of games. ( counter strike , jedi knight 2, unreal tournament, … ). - Online Games
This division will concentrate on online provided games. The games this division will be concentrating on are the ones found on www.playsite.com with who arrangements have been made to hold tournaments and such.
The first 2 games they are concentrating on are “ Monopoly “ and “ Chess “
So stay tuned for news from our new gaming division.
- The last thing that will happen with the implantation of the V2 and the revamp of Entertainment is the creation of a new homepage.
