Fantasy: Lord of the Rings Hello readers, and welcome to a Fan Club first, cos this month I'm doing a fantasy site. Yes this month I'm going over a Lord of the Rings site built and maintained specifically for the Fans of the Lord of the Rings. The address is LordoftheRings.com The site calls itself a "Fanatics Network". There's a link to the "Fanatics Plaza" (http://www.lotrplaza.com), and a shop (http://www.lordoftheringsshop.com).

The site I'll be reviewing is the main site, of which there is a html variety and a flash style one, both of which are the same. On the site there is info about JRR Tolkien, including an interview, and a picture of his and his wifes' grave. There's loads of info about the books, including the Hobbit. One thing I liked was a timeline of the events in LOTR, which was presented in actual timeline style (meaning in an actual line).

There's also a quiz presented by Bilbo (sidebar from the Editor - it is a tough quiz, butlots of fun, takesplace in 6 parts and it helps if you have all the books at hand if you want to get past all the Orce :P), Tours (read info) about people, places, and weapons in middle Earth.

In the books section, there's info about all the books, including the aforementioned timeline, reviews, quotes, and an essay entitled "Who is Tom Bombadil?" for all of you who have wondered. There's also an art and media section, in which includes art by different people. Overall, this site seems like a good one.

This is Ricas Kibu, signing off for another month.
