The Writer of the Year 2003 will be announced as usual at the Annual Ceremony in August. In the meantime, we thought it would be fun to see what you the members think, so go ahead and start reading. The 2004 Writers' Guild year begins July 1st so any entries received from hereafter will then go forward to be considered for next year's competition.

The Writers' Guild Staff will no longer be doing major editing on the contestant’s work. Submissions should be sent in as you would a publisher (checking spelling, typos and grammar). We will still do a standard proofreading and minimal changes. This will preserve the ‘originality’ of the author's work. So once again for the next year's competition, you as an author must make sure your editing is done.
