Welcome back to ask Mr.Wizard

We're still patiently waiting for anyone to write us, we feel unloved even!
Surely there are some people out there with technical questions of any kind of nature? Don't sit there and read, go to the submissions form already and write us!
This months however, some hints and links on learning the basics of creating web pages. Many people are good at it, many should really get some taste and learn some more and then there are many who have no idea how to go about building a proper web page. I'd like to promote an especially well written documentary on this by our very own Captain Jayneway, in her Do's and Don'ts the topic is covered very well and whether you plan on learning from scratch or know the basic, its good reading.

Now you read the Do's and Don'ts so lets get started!
In almost all bookstores, libraries and small news kiosks, there's a wide variety of leaflets and small books on how to get started. You'll find many with more advanced techniques, graphics creation and programming languages such as PERL, C, C+, PHP, ASP etc. Don't go there yet, you'll be confused at best. Instead, learn the simple basics. We do learn the letters in the alphabet before we start learning how to write don't we? ;-)

I've gathered a list of good and useful online guides for you to get started with.

A well written Guide written by Admiral Maxwell.

Don't forget to write us your technical questions!
Until next time!
