Filmguild update:
Still down, but not sitting still. Our illustrious and talented in the "Techno-fixing" department, Admiral Maxwell, is hard at work on our new home page. In the meantime, we are preparing for the premier of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. And we do hope that others are interested to help creating a big party around this premier.
Premier date: 15 November 2002
Starring: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Kenneth Branagh, Richard Harris
Director: Chris Columbus
Writers: Steven Kloves, J.K. Rowling
The Story: Harry has to spend a miserable summer with his aunt and uncle, the Dursleys, dreaming of returning to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for their second year. But when the time comes, he is unable to catch the train, and is forced to make his way to Hogwarts by illegal methods. Things get even scarier when he finally makes it to school, for pupils are mysteriously being turned to stone, and foot-high writing on the walls proclaims that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened. What can it all mean? Harry, along with his friends Hermione and Ron, is determined to uncover the mystery.
We already have some interesting reviews for you to read, like
the book review
written by missMaul. We got Anth's review from the
first Harry Potter movie,
so you can refresh your memory. Jedi Carol Scardar did a review about
J.K. Rowling, the
writer of the books. And we also found a review for you about
Mary
Grandpre, she did all the drawing around the Harry Potter books. The last review I can offer
to you is Tom Nobbe's review about
John
Williams who did the music for the movie.
Much more to come in the next weeks. Keep an eye out on the update board.
