CCC November Update

Department: Cloud City Cantina Report for November, 2002

Greetings.

I hope everyone has had a spooktacular month. This October we have celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving as well as Halloween. As many of you noticed Halloween-themed avatars were added to all the chatrooms, replacing our usual favorites. Don't worry, things will be back the way they were by the time you read this report.

Thanks go to CL7 Babel for creating a majority of the avatars, CL6 Diane (C6) for the 'Freaky Creatures' avatars, myself and JJ for the Buffy/Angel and a few extra avatars, and special thanks to Henri for uploading the avatars and providing the new smileys. The Halloween smileys and avatars were uploaded in celebration of Admiral Andrew Maxwell's Birthday on October 17. On behalf of the CCC, I thank you fine officers for your outstanding work!

On a more personal note I wish to extend my congratulations to the SW Deputy Sector Commander, CL7 Glenn, and his wife, CL6 Cybersix (Diane -aka Mrs. Glenn), on the birth of their first child on October 13, 2002 at 12:40 PM. After 20 hours and 41 minutes of labor, a beautiful baby girl named Lara weighing in at 8 pound 10 1/2 ounces /3930 grams, and 21.45"/54.5cm long was brought into the world. We welcome her into the OTF family and wish her, and her parents, the best.

Not much going on in the CCC lately. Once again, there is a balance in the Force. Be patient my loyal patrons, there will be some interesting changes on the horizon for the CCC. Stay tuned to the Updates board for upcoming Trivia Nights, Guild Contests, and other fun and exciting events as we approach the holiday season. Make sure you get your Episode II: Attack of the Clones DVD or VHS tape on November 12 in North America. Check starwars.com for more info since the release dates vary for each country. *hides the endorsement cheque behind his back* You never saw that...*uses the old Jedi Mind Trick on everyone.*

Please take a moment to remember those that have served. or are currently serving, in the Armed Forces. November 11 is Veterans' Day in the U.S. and Rememberance Day for Canada and the United Kingdom.

Hope everyone has a pleasant and fun-filled Thanksgiving in the U.S on November 28. Enjoy the time with family, friends, and loved ones, and reflect on what you are thankful for.

May the Force be with you all,

CL7 Crazy Texan
SW Sector Commander
