With American
Thanksgivng right around the corner, I thought I would share a traditional side
dish with the Outpost this month, the good old sweet potato. This recipe isn't
just for special occasions either. It's easy enough for you to make as a side
any night of the week. Enjoy!

Style Baked Sweet Potatoes
Yield is 3-4
- 3-4 large sweet potatoes
- 1/3 cup
butter mixed with cinnamon and sugar
- 2 tbsp. of
brown sugar
- ¼ cup of
olive oil
- Wash
thoroughly, cover in olive oil and slice down the middle and then wrap in tin
foil. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place
in hot oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until tender.
- Remove from
foil and place butter mixture in the middle and allow melting. Then place brown
sugar on top of potato and then serve.
