There seems to be a lull in news submitted to the Blue Report these days, as there were only four things of note to bring to our readers.

 The first article came to us from that galaxy far, far away. It was announced that Star Wars Battlefront III beta testing would begin in early October.

 The next piece of information was on the release of the trailer for season two of TNT’s hit show “The Librarians.” The cast also was recently seen at New York Comic Con.

If you’re a Whovian, you’ve already seen it, but there was a prologue/prelude that led into Season 9 of Doctor Who. This prelude was featured in the theatrical release of last season’s finale, as well as having hit the web.

And lastly, two pieces of information on frachises of note - Woody Harrelson was cast as the human villain of the upcoming “War Of The Planet Of The Apes", and a Van Helsing TV series has been picked up by The SyFy Channel.
