There wasn’t very much in
the Blue Report in the last month, but sometimes you’ve got to look at quality
over quantity. Having said that, here’s the news.
In early August, it was announced that a Back To The Future documentary entitled “Back In Time” would be getting a release date.
Two days later, word hit the internet that Doctor Who’s Tom Baker, one of the best known and loved lead characters of that franchise, had been cast in a Star Wars production, though he didn’t say if it was to voice a character in the “Rebels” cartoon, or appear in a future movie.
Staying within that galaxy far, far away, it was reported that Disneyland and Disneyworld would both acquire more land for “Star Wars Land,” with representation of aliens and droid from the Star Wars universe.
And lastly, a new Star Trek fan film, directed by Star Trek: Voyager’s Tim Russ, has hit the web. It’s called “Star Trek: Renegades”, and appears to be the pilot for a new webseries that will continue to flesh out Section 31, with Tuvok in charge. The movie stars Tim Russ, Gary Graham, Manu Intiraymi, Corin Nemec, Richard Herd, Grant Imahara, Vic Mignogna, Herbert Jefferson Jr., Edward Furlong, Sean Young, Robert Picardo, and a spoiler performance that I won't give away. You'll just have to go watch.
