Tastes of the Outpost: Grilled Ranch Chicken

This recipe is great for summertime. Here we have a different twist on the traditional grilled chicken. why just through chicken on the grill and then use barbecue sauce to spice it up. A marinade will infuse the chicken with flavor and you wont cook out all of the great juices that keep chicken tasting great. Here's what you need:

Ingredients  

·         3 or 4 chicken breast (thawed completely)

·         1 1/2 Cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil

·         1 Packet of Dry Ranch Seasoning

·         1/2 Teaspoon of Sea Salk per breast for seasoning

·         1/2 Teaspoon of Pepper per breast for seasoning

Directions

1.    In a large re-sealable bag, mix Olive Oil and Ranch Seasoning. Mix Thoroughly.

2.    Add Chicken to bad and allow to marinate for at least 8 hours

3.    Grill chicken over medium heat. ***Cooking Tip*** Create a "Safe Zone" where chicken will not get scorched.

4.    Add Sea Salt and Pepper towards the end of Grilling. Chicken should read 165° F or 74° C

5.    Serve with Sliced greens as a salad or with your favorite side.
